Cinema 2.0 - A Swarm of Angels

Posting activity has dropped off considerably apart from short ‘Glances’ bookmarking for a reason. I’ve been working hard on a ’stealth’ project, which I have just given a web launch:
Recent press: BoingBoing
A Swarm of Angels // Remixing cinema
A Swarm of Angels reinvents the Hollywood model of filmmaking to create cult cinema for the Internet era.

Colder and UVA dance To The Music

Colder’s To The Music video by UVA is a striking promo treatment where sound and image are totally in keeping with each other. Precursor adds live action and motion controlled camerawork to their sharp motion graphic work showcased memorably in 2003’s Anomaly, a information study of a NASA shuttle flight, which was a Creative Review/Digital Vision finalist. Anomaly exhibits [...]

Pleix Sometimes motion graphic promo

The latest work from Pleix is an indirect elegy to 9-11. Subtle use of motion graphics and compositing in this music video for a Kid 606 release on Mille Plateaux showcase this French collectives versatility. Previous work for Futureshock and Plaid are more shout-out effects driven, but the plaintive tone of Sometimes with its gracefully [...]
